MEP (Multiple Editor Projects) were hosted by different editing communities on YouTube; I worked with YRS to create a typography lyric video which would be split between 15-30 different editors and each part spanning 5 seconds long. MEPs have a strict visual style and an overarching concept to have a cohesive end project with all the different editors involved.

The art direction was, “”street grunge” and had a visual style that draws inspiration to street fashion advertisements similar to the NIKE REACT IG campaign in 2019. The kinetic typography needed to support the distinct visual style along with a palette that was majority monochromatic and used yellow as a highlighting shade. There was full creative freedom in how we were to create a style that was reflective of the direction and I experimented with the use of mix media to incorporate real images to the illustrations used. Illustrations and image files used were outsourced or given as resources by YRS.
