Conversations about AI explores ways designers are responding to AI and the emergence of image generation technology in 2023. As part of my honours project at UTS, I conducted one-hour interviews with three design practitioners, and edited the transcripts into one-minute scripts that summarise key insights and responses from each practitioner about AI image generation. Using one of these scripts, I have created a motion graphic video as a prototype for a series of videos that will be published on a website.This video aims to prompt conversations among designers, at a time when many designers feel confused and uncertain about the impacts of emerging technology on future practice.The video was created using a mixture of techniques including green screen filming, designing and producing motion graphics within the post production process.
